Job opportunities in professions associated with Aging Services are expected to grow by more than 35% - ranking among the most rapidly growing employment areas, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. To meet the demand for aging services professionals, the University of Florida Elder Care Management Program offers an on-line undergraduate certificate in Aging Services.
The program requires the successful completion of three undergraduate level courses with a grade of B or higher. All courses are taught utilizing a web based e-learning system. The courses are organized in weekly modules which include audio power point presentations, video lectures, assigned reading and individual projects. The material is designed for working professionals and can be completed in self paced / flexible learning format. The courses are entirely a-synchronous and self paced. You may begin at any time by clicking on the register icon and completing the registration process. Once you begin the individual course you will have one year from the date you register to complete the course.

Required Courses:
Once you have completed the courses listed above you should send an e-mail to ecm@dce.ufl.edu indicating you have completed the courses and a Certificate will be prepared and mailed to you. You will need to include your UF student ID number (for verification of course completion) and a confirmation of your mailing address.
