The University of Florida Pre-Certification Program in Elder Care Management is designed to prepare working professionals with the training necessary to establish a practice specializing in the comprehensive management of services related to and required by older adults. This program is approved by the Commission on Health Care Certification for those seeking to become Certified Elder Care Manager Specialist.

The program is entirely self-paced with an instructor of record who is available to answer any questions you have about the course material. Lectures for this program are presented in Microsoft PowerPoint flash. After reviewing the lectures participants are required to complete a set of assigned readings and upon completion of reviewing all the lectures and assigned readings each participant will complete a multiple choice final exam.

This pre-certification program is designed to require 60 contact hours to complete and upon completion participants are awarded a certificate and six CEU units. The course has an open enrollment period so you can register at any time.

The program is approved by the Commission on Case Management Certification for CMC re-certification.
